Feast On History was founded by Christian Galliani and Danielle Oteri in 2015 in collaboration with their Italian family at Borgo La Pietraia in Capaccio-Paestum. Our mission is share the food, wine and cultural treasures of South Italy.
Danielle Oteri is a writer and art historian. She was a Lecturer at the Met Cloisters for 15 years and Program Director of the International Center of Medieval Art. Her writing as appeared in BBC Travel, Condè Nast Traveler, Grove Dictionary of Art, Gothamist, The Paris Review, Roads + Kingdoms, and the UK Independent.
Christian Galliani is a sommelier and expert on wine in Campania. He was on the wine team at Del Posto, Lead Sommelier at Tarry Lodge where he won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and Beverage Manager at Eataly’s Osteria della Pace.
Arianna Scariati is a travel agent with a decade of experience who designs every tour and manages all the details with local expertise.
